We support provision of inclusive education to children and youth with disabilities at various levels (preprimary, primary, secondary and Vocational ) through the creation of enabling environment.

Poverty Reduction & Livelihoods
Skills, enterprise and climate-smart livelihoods
We support government efforts in the poverty reduction by employing various strategies :
1. Boosting economic growth to raise income levels and create job opportunities for low-income populations.
2. Carrying out economic and institutional reforms to improve efficiency and better use of resources.
3. Expanding microfinance initiatives and enhancing market access and infrastructure.
4. Delivering targeted financial assistance and affirmative programs to support marginalized groups.
Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)
Safe water and dignity for every community
Access to safe drinking water, proper sanitation, and good hygiene is essential for human health and overall well-being. Clean and safe WASH services are not only vital for maintaining health, but they also support livelihoods, promote regular school attendance, uphold human dignity, and contribute to building strong, healthy, and resilient communities. In line with this, OSHI supports the efforts of the government in increasing access to safe drinking water, sanitation and good hygiene. Furthermore, OSHI works to ensure environmental conservation and protection.
Environment & Climate Action
Forests, land and biodiversity for the long term
Forests are vital for life on Earth, supporting biodiversity, regulating climate, and sustaining millions of livelihoods. In Tanzania, deforestation threatens ecosystems, communities and the planet. OSHI promotes community-led forest conservation, sustainable land management, biodiversity protection and climate-smart livelihoods to restore forests, protect biodiversity, and build resilient communities.

Capacity Building
In order to ensure sustainability of OSHI interventions, OSHI carries out consulting activities in a range of areas including:
1. Training and capacity building to institution, private sector and individuals based on the training needs.
2. Carry out research activities on behalf of institution, individuals and other groups as may be required.
